Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = x - 6 that passes through (6, 15).
- 2Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is inversely proportional to x. When x = 2, y = 24. Work out y when x = 6.
- 3SOHCAHTOA (Trigonometry)3 marks
A right-angled triangle has sides 7 cm, 24 cm and 25 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 7 cm side, to 1 decimal place.
- 4Probability Trees3 marks
A bag holds 6 red and 3 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 5Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 54. Work out the range.
