A block has volume 60 cm^3 and density 7.5 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
- 2Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 5. The smaller has an area of 16 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
24 students study Spanish and 5 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 9, 12, 12, 10. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Standard Form2 marks
Work out (6 x 10^6) x (9 x 10^-2). Give your answer in standard form.
