A bill is £192 including VAT at 20%. Work out the amount before VAT.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = -3x + 3. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 3, y = 27. Work out y when x = 5.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (-4, -2) is enlarged by scale factor -2 about the centre (4, 0). Write down the coordinates of the image.
