In triangle ABC, angle A is 60°, angle B is 77° and side a is 10 cm. Use the sine rule to work out side b, to 1 decimal place.

In a Venn diagram, 17 are in A only, 11 in B only, 8 in both and 2 in neither. Work out the probability a random one is in both.
- 3Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has a minimum of 17 and a maximum of 63. Work out the range.
- 4Reverse Percentages3 marks
A bill is £216 including VAT at 20%. Work out the amount before VAT.
- 5Expanding and Factorising Quadratics3 marks
Factorise x^2 - 8x + 12.
