Work out (6 x 10^6) x (7 x 10^-2). Give your answer in standard form.

For the curve y = x^2 + x - 3, work out y when x = -4.
- 5Repeated Percentage Change3 marks
A town's population is 4000 and grows by 3% each year. Work out the population after 5 years, to the nearest whole number.
