A right-angled triangle has sides 8 cm, 15 cm and 17 cm. Work out the angle opposite the 8 cm side, to 1 decimal place.

A bag holds 6 red and 5 blue counters. Two are taken without replacement. Work out the probability both are red.
- 3Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 5, 12, 5, 3. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 4Surds2 marks
Write sqrt(50) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.
- 5Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
Work out the equation of the line parallel to y = -5x + 4 that passes through (4, -15).
