3 of 5 bulbs in a box are faulty. Two are taken with replacement. Work out the probability at least one is faulty.
- 2Box Plots2 marks
A box plot has minimum 12, lower quartile 17, median 25, upper quartile 27 and maximum 32. Work out the interquartile range.
- 3Fractional and Negative Indices2 marks
Write 2^-3 as a fraction.
- 4Trigonometric and Exponential Graphs2 marks
The curve y = 5^x is drawn. Work out y when x = 5, and write down where the curve crosses the y-axis.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 2, y = 36. Work out y when x = 4.
