A block has volume 30 cm^3 and density 2.5 g/cm^3. Work out its mass.
- 2Similar Shapes (Area and Volume)3 marks
Two similar shapes have lengths in the ratio 1 : 3. The smaller has an area of 12 cm^2. Work out the area of the larger.
- 3Conditional Probability3 marks
15 students study Spanish and 11 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
- 4Cumulative Frequency2 marks
Four classes in order have frequencies 6, 9, 3, 11. Write down the cumulative frequency at the end of the third class.
- 5Bounds2 marks
A mass is 90 kg, correct to the nearest 10. Write down the upper bound.
