For the curve y = x^2 + 8x + 10, work out y when x = 3.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 2, y = 24. Work out y when x = 11.
- 4Sector Areas and Arc Lengths3 marks
A sector of a circle has radius 13 cm and angle 90°. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Conditional Probability3 marks
20 students study Spanish and 9 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
