Simplify sqrt(48) + sqrt(12), giving your answer in the form a sqrt(b).
- 4Iteration3 marks
Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (7x(n) + 1) with x(0) = 2. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 5Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^3. When x = 4, y = 128. Work out y when x = 2.
