- 2Bounds3 marks
A car covers 490 m (to the nearest 10 m) in 5 s (to the nearest second). Work out the lower bound of its speed, to 2 decimal places.
- 3Proof3 marks
Prove that the sum of 4 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 2. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to x^2. When x = 4, y = 144. Work out the positive value of x when y = 441.
