Use the iteration x(n+1) = cube root of (8x(n) + 3) with x(0) = 5. Work out x(1) to 3 decimal places.
- 4Velocity Time Graphs2 marks
On a velocity-time graph a car speeds up in a straight line from 3 m/s to 13 m/s over 4 seconds. Work out the acceleration.
- 5Proof of the Circle Theorems2 marks
In a circle theorem proof, a step uses the fact that the alternate segment theorem is being proved. State the reason being quoted.
