Prove that the sum of 6 consecutive integers is always a multiple of 3. State the simplified sum you would use.
- 3Direct and Inverse Proportion Depth3 marks
y is directly proportional to sqrt(x). When x = 16, y = 20. Work out y when x = 9.
- 4Vectors Proof Questions3 marks
OACB is a parallelogram with vector OA = p and vector OB = m. X is the point dividing AB in the ratio 1 : 3. Write vector OX in terms of p and m.
- 5Probability Equation Questions3 marks
The probability of winning a game is 1/10. A player expects 8 wins. How many games did they play?
