Write sqrt(72) in the form a sqrt(b), where b is as small as possible.

For the curve y = x^2 + 8x + 1, work out y when x = -2.

y is directly proportional to x. When x = 8, y = 32. Work out y when x = 14.
- 4Sector Areas and Arc Lengths3 marks
A sector of a circle has radius 14 cm and angle 45°. Work out its area, to 1 decimal place.
- 5Conditional Probability3 marks
22 students study Spanish and 7 of those also study Art. One Spanish student is picked at random. Work out the probability they study Art.
