A bill is £816 including VAT at 20%. Work out the amount before VAT.
- 3Parallel and Perpendicular Lines3 marks
A line has equation y = 3x + 3. Work out the gradient of any line perpendicular to it.
- 4Direct and Inverse Proportion3 marks
y is directly proportional to x. When x = 7, y = 28. Work out y when x = 13.
- 5Enlarging with Negative Scale Factors3 marks
The point (-6, -4) is enlarged by scale factor -2 about the centre (-2, -4). Write down the coordinates of the image.
