The papers above are scoped by grade band. These are scoped by teaching point instead: each one leaves out content a student at that stage has not met yet, so a mock in the middle of the course tests what has actually been covered.
AS and A Level are separate qualifications with different assessed content, so this split follows the specification rather than a teaching convention. I am confident in the AS/A Level split for Social Influence, Memory, Attachment, Approaches and Research Methods, which was consistent across every source I checked. I am reasonably but not fully confident that Biopsychology's nervous-system content specifically (as opposed to localisation of brain function, plasticity and biological rhythms, which are A Level only) is the AS-examined portion, based on two consistent but independent descriptions of that sub-split. My research also turned up conflicting claims about Psychopathology: most evidence, plus the structural parallel between the AS and full A Level Paper 2 titles, points to Psychopathology being full-A-Level-only (added alongside Issues and Debates in year two), but a few sources suggested AQA's AS Paper 2 instead examines Psychopathology in place of Biopsychology. I could not fetch AQA's specification PDF directly to settle this, since aqa.org.uk and its usual PDF mirrors were blocked from this environment, and one source referenced specification updates for the 2026/2027 exam series that I could not verify either. If precision on Psychopathology's exact AS status matters, it is worth confirming against the current AQA 7181 specification directly before relying on it.
