Leo's Day at the Farm

Leo woke up early one morning. The sky was still dark, but soon the sun rose and the sky turned light. Leo's older sister Mia said today would be a busy day at the farm.

At the farm, Leo saw a huge horse standing next to a tiny mouse. The horse trotted slowly across the field, but the mouse ran fast under the fence. Leo laughed when a fat pig lay down beside a thin cat in the sun.

Later, Leo helped Mia at the water tap. The bucket was empty at first, but soon it was full of cold water from the tap. Leo's hands felt wet, so Mia passed him a dry towel to use.

By evening, Leo felt happy but also a little tired. The farm had been noisy all morning, yet it grew quiet as the animals settled down for the night. Leo climbed into bed. Mia switched off the bright light, and the room turned dark. It had been a wonderful day.
