On Tuesday, Nadia's class went to Oakwood Wildlife Park. Miss Bell counted the children twice because she wanted to make sure nobody was missing.
Leo wanted to see the tigers first, but the tigers were still asleep in their den. He watched the meerkats instead and laughed at how fast they ran.
At the parrot show, a parrot called Coco could say hello and whistle a tune. The children clapped because Coco copied Miss Bell's voice exactly.
For lunch, everybody could choose a cheese sandwich or a chicken wrap from the picnic hamper. Nadia chose the cheese sandwich because it was her favourite.
After lunch, the class visited the reptile house, but Leo did not want to go inside. He was not scared, but he liked the outdoor enclosures more.
Just before home time, the tigers woke up and walked slowly to their pool. Everyone cheered because they finally saw the tigers move.
