(c)24 students go on the trip, and all of them pay by 31 January. Calculate the total amount paid by the students.(2)
(d)Mrs Bennett had instead invested the total amount from part c in a savings account paying 2% compound interest per year for 2 years, before eventually paying the ski company. Calculate how much interest this investment would have earned, giving your answer to the nearest penny.(4)
