The hidden word is made using the last letter or letters of the first word and the first letter or letters of the second word (for example, the end of one word joined to the start of the next). The hidden word never uses the very first letter of the sentence or the very last letter of the sentence, and it is never split by a comma or full stop. Worked example. A word of four letters is hidden between two words that are next to each other in the sentence below. The hidden word uses the last letter(s) of the first word and the first letter(s) of the second word. Find the hidden word.
