This pack practises dictation and gist note-taking. For the dictation sentences, write each sentence exactly as you hear it in Spanish; accents and the enye have been omitted for print compatibility and should be written correctly if this were a live dictation. For the monologues, read the short Spanish passage and answer the questions in English. Answer every question. Time guidance: 10 minutes for dictation (allow teachers to read sentences once then repeat), 20 minutes for the two monologues and short answers.
