A Trip to Oakfield Farm

Class 1 went on a trip to Oakfield Farm. Zara, Finn and Priya sat on the bus with their teacher, Mr Owens.

At the farm, they saw a hen, a duck and a pig in the field. Zara counted three hens and two ducks by the gate.

Finn held a warm egg from the henhouse. Priya patted a soft pig and giggled.

Later, the farmer gave each child a box to collect eggs. Finn's box had six eggs inside.

In the farm shop, Zara bought a hat, a bag and a brush. Priya chose a cup with a picture of a fox on it.

It was a busy and happy day at Oakfield Farm.
