Priya's Fluffy Puppy

Source written for Revision Library (original, copyright-free). A short original story for Year 1 describing words practice.

Priya had a new puppy. He was small and fluffy with soft brown fur. Priya named him Buster. Buster had a wet black nose and two floppy ears. He loved to chase the shiny red ball around the garden.

One sunny day, Priya took Buster to the busy park. A tall man walked past with a noisy scooter. Buster felt scared and hid behind a big tree. Priya gave him a gentle stroke and a tasty treat. Soon Buster felt brave again and ran across the soft green grass. It was a happy day for Priya and her cheerful puppy.
