A Picnic at Sunnyfield Park

On Friday, Chestnut Class had a picnic in Sunnyfield Park. The sun was warm and the sky was clear.

Priya carried the picnic basket and Sam carried a blanket. Mr Doyle spread the blanket on the grass.

Priya took out sandwiches and Sam took out apples. Rex the dog sniffed the basket and wagged his tail.

'Sit down and eat your lunch,' said Mr Doyle. The children ate sandwiches and drank juice.

After lunch, Priya and Sam played catch. Rex ran and barked and chased the ball. Everyone laughed and had a wonderful afternoon.
