On Friday, the whole school gathered eagerly on the field for Sports Day. Miss Grant blew the whistle sharply to start the first race. Ollie sprinted quickly down the track and finished first, punching the air proudly. In the egg-and-spoon race, Priya walked carefully so that her egg would not fall, while Ben rushed clumsily and dropped his egg twice. During the relay, the yellow team passed the baton smoothly and cheered loudly when they crossed the line first. At the end of the afternoon, Mr Adeyemi thanked everyone warmly and gave out the medals.
