Name: _______________________________    Date: ____ / ____ / ______
Each question gives two words with a gap between them, for example CLASS ( .... ) MATE. Find the one word that will complete the first word and also begin the second word, making two new words. Choose your answer from the five options, A to E. Only one option makes two real words in every question. Study the worked example above before you begin.
Worked example. CLASS ( .... ) MATE Answer: ROOM. ROOM completes the first word to make CLASSROOM and begins the second word to make ROOMMATE, so ROOM is the word that links both. No other word makes two real words here.
