Name: _______________________________    Date: ____ / ____ / ______
Each question gives two words with a gap between them, for example CLASS ( .... ) MATE. Find the one word that will complete the first word and also begin the second word, making two new words. Choose the correct word from the five options A to E. Only one option makes two real words.
Worked example. CLASS ( .... ) MATE Answer: ROOM. ROOM completes the first word to make CLASSROOM and begins the second word to make ROOMMATE, so ROOM links both. No other word makes two real words here.
