Read the text about Marta, her friend Lucía and her brother Iker, then answer all the questions. Questions 1 to 4 may be answered in English unless you are told to answer in Spanish. Question 5 asks you to translate part of the text into English.

Mi identidad y mis amigos

Me llamo Marta y tengo quince años. Vivo en Bilbao, en el norte de España, con mis padres y mi hermano mayor, Iker. Soy bastante extrovertida y muy habladora, aunque a veces soy un poco tímida cuando conozco a gente nueva. Mis amigos dicen que soy leal y generosa, y para mí eso es muy importante porque valoro mucho la amistad.

Mi mejor amiga se llama Lucía y la conozco desde el colegio primario. Es alta, tiene el pelo rizado y siempre lleva gafas. Es más tranquila que yo, pero compartimos el mismo sentido del humor y nos reímos mucho juntas. Hablamos todos los días, aunque ahora Lucía vive en otro barrio y no podemos vernos tan a menudo como antes.

Mi relación con mi hermano Iker es un poco complicada. Él tiene dieciocho años y a veces discutimos porque él quiere más independencia y yo quiero pasar tiempo con él. Sin embargo, cuando tengo un problema, siempre puedo contar con él. El mes pasado me ayudó mucho cuando tuve problemas con unos compañeros de clase.

En mi opinión, la identidad de una persona depende de sus relaciones con los demás. Mis padres me enseñaron a ser honesta y respetuosa, y creo que estos valores forman parte de quién soy. No cambiaría a mis amigos ni a mi familia por nada del mundo.
