A Trip to Sunny Farm

Last Tuesday, Class 2 visited Sunny Farm. The bus stopped outside a big red gate, and everyone walked inside.

A friendly farmer called Mr Oduya greeted the children and showed them the goats. Priya patted a soft grey goat and giggled when it nibbled her sleeve.

Tom carried a bucket of corn for the hens. He dropped a handful on the ground, and the hens pecked it up quickly.

Later, the children hopped onto a trailer and rode around the farm. They spotted three lambs and a tiny piglet, and everyone clapped when the piglet squealed.

At lunchtime, the class sat on the grass and shared their sandwiches. It was a brilliant day at Sunny Farm.
