On Monday, Willow Class went on a school trip to Bramble Farm. Miss Okafor packed sandwiches, apples, biscuits, and juice for everyone to share.
At the farm, the children saw hens, sheep, goats, and a huge shire horse standing by the gate. Tom stroked the horse gently and it nuzzled his hand.
The farmer, Mr Patel, showed the class how to feed the hens, collect the eggs, and clean out the coop. Priya, Leah, and Omar helped him carefully.
For lunch, the children sat on the grass, opened their bags, and shared their snacks. They ate cheese sandwiches, crunchy apples, and oaty biscuits.
Before leaving, the class visited the farm shop. Leah bought a wooden sheep, a postcard, and a pencil, but Omar chose a farm sticker book instead.
On the coach home, the children talked about the horse, the hens, and the goats. It had been an exciting, tiring, and wonderful day.
