The papers above are scoped by grade band. These are scoped by teaching point instead: each one leaves out content a student at that stage has not met yet, so a mock in the middle of the course tests what has actually been covered.
These bands are a typical teaching order, not a syllabus rule. No exam board defines what belongs to Year 10, and schools sequence the course differently. Check the split against your own scheme of work before using it to decide what a class has covered. Unlike an AS/A2 boundary, no exam board defines what counts as "Year 10 content" - this is a scheme-of-work convention that genuinely varies between centres, and even between classes in the same school, since some schools spiral every strand across both years instead of sequencing it linearly. I'm least confident about statistics-probability, which plenty of schools start well before Year 11 even though I've treated it here as a Year-11 completion, and about area-volume and graphs, where I've assumed the straightforward early content rather than the harder compound-shape or non-linear-graph work some schools push later. Treat this as an overridable default a tutor can adjust for their own scheme, not a fact about the specification itself.
